2014 Kentuckiana Kids Try
USAT Mideast Youth Grant Recipient
Tri for a Change
USA Triathlon wants to grow the sport in your area, and we need your help! The organization is looking for individuals or groups to host a bike drive on our behalf for our Tri For Change Program. The Tri For Change program is an eight-week program created three years ago to help underserved kids learn about and participate in the sport of triathlon. Along with learning about triathlon, the program provides life-changing benefits such as engaging participants in a healthy lifestyle and fostering a greater sense of confidence.
2016 Youth Grant Program
Our Youth Development Program aims to provide grant monies to USA Triathlon sanctioned events, organizations and certified youth coaches in the Mideast Region who engage and support youth multisport development. Last year, we had 20 organizations apply, and we awarded grants ranging from $300 – $1000.
We offer both our traditional youth grants as well as grants that support a youth skills camp. More details outlining program goals and the specifics of the grant can be found within the introduction of the online application below.
